PELEGRINUS est un jeu de programmation, de majorité et de placement. Vous êtes à la tête d’un ordre monastique et vous allez chercher à étendre votre influence sur la chrétienté.
Le déroulement d’un tour est simple : les joueurs programment secrètement où ils envoient leurs 5 personnages, puis ils dévoilent leurs choix et placent leurs personnages, qui ont chacun une valeur entre 0 et 4. Enfin, lieu par lieu, les joueurs déterminent celui qui a la majorité et qui peut donc effectuer l’action disponible (devenir pape, construire un prieuré, une abbaye, prendre une relique). Au début, seul le Proche-Orient est accessible mais petit à petit de nouvelles régions s’ouvriront pendant que d’anciennes seront saturées. La tension est donc continue. Chacune de vos actions rapporte des points et rien n’est jamais perdu. Aurez-vous tout de même suffisamment de clairvoyance pour sortir votre épingle du jeu ?
